CACHE COMPASS REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: October 4, 2026 Policy Version: 2026-10-04

Cache Compass is digitally delivered licensed software whose license entitlement can be provided immediately after purchase.

Except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law or expressly approved under this policy, purchases are generally final once the applicable license entitlement has been provided.

1. REFUNDS CACHE COMPASS WILL REVIEW

Cache Compass will review refund requests involving duplicate or accidental duplicate charges; payment taken when the applicable Cache Compass license was not successfully provisioned; an incorrect charge or license capacity caused by a Cache Compass purchasing-system error; a verified material technical failure attributable to Cache Compass that prevents the purchased license from being used and that Cache Compass cannot reasonably repair, replace, work around, or otherwise correct; or circumstances in which applicable law requires a refund or other remedy.

2. TECHNICAL ISSUES

The existence of a technical problem does not automatically require a refund.

Where a verified technical failure attributable to Cache Compass prevents use of a valid purchased license, Cache Compass may attempt to repair the issue, provide an update, provide a workaround, replace or restore the affected entitlement, or provide another reasonable remedy before determining whether a refund is appropriate.

Where applicable law requires a refund or another specific remedy, Cache Compass will provide the remedy required by law.

3. THIRD-PARTY COMPATIBILITY

Cache Compass depends on Firestorm, Second Life, Windows, and other third-party software and infrastructure that Cache Compass does not control.

Those third parties may change, restrict, remove, redesign, encrypt, discontinue, or otherwise modify functionality on which Cache Compass depends.

A subsequent loss or reduction of compatibility resulting from a change to Firestorm, Second Life, Windows, another third-party service, or an unsupported customer environment does not, by itself, create a right to a refund for a previously delivered and functioning Cache Compass license, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.

Cache Compass may attempt to restore compatibility where technically feasible and commercially reasonable but does not guarantee that compatibility can or will be restored.

4. DISCONTINUATION

Cache Compass may discontinue, suspend, retire, or cease providing all or part of Cache Compass or the Services as described in the Cache Compass Terms of Service & Software License Agreement.

Discontinuation does not, by itself, create a refund entitlement for a previously delivered license.

A one-time purchase does not guarantee that Cache Compass, its licensing infrastructure, downloads, support, updates, compatibility, website, or individual features will remain available for any minimum period or indefinitely.

Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not permit Cache Compass to waive.

5. SITUATIONS THAT NORMALLY DO NOT QUALIFY

A refund normally will not be provided solely because a customer changed their mind after purchase; no longer wishes to organize their inventory; expected Cache Compass to make subjective inventory decisions for them; approved an inventory cleanup action and later regretted that selection; permanently purged items from Second Life Trash after Cache Compass moved them there; purchased capacity later determined to be unnecessary; uses a computer or software configuration that does not meet published requirements; experiences incompatibility caused by an unsupported configuration; experiences loss of compatibility resulting from a later third-party platform change; no longer has access to an obsolete Cache Compass installer; expected an unspecified future feature that was never included in the purchased license; objects to a prospective change in pricing for future purchases; or had a license lawfully suspended or revoked because of fraud, chargeback, piracy, unauthorized redistribution, deliberate license circumvention, or another material violation of the Terms.

6. INVENTORY CLEANUP

Cache Compass assists the customer in identifying and selecting inventory-management actions.

Customers are responsible for reviewing selected cleanup actions before approval and for reviewing Second Life Trash before permanently deleting or purging its contents.

A refund normally will not be provided solely because a customer later regrets an inventory action that the customer affirmatively reviewed and approved, subject to applicable law and any verified defect attributable to Cache Compass.

7. REFUNDS AND CHARGEBACKS

Customers should contact Cache Compass Support regarding a disputed purchase or technical problem before initiating a payment chargeback where reasonably practicable.

A chargeback or payment reversal may result in suspension of the associated license while the payment dispute is investigated.

Nothing in this section restricts a customer's lawful rights concerning payment disputes.

8. MANDATORY CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits refund, cancellation, warranty, statutory, or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow Cache Compass to waive.

9. HOW TO REQUEST REVIEW

Submit refund requests through the official Cache Compass support method with enough information to identify the purchase and describe the issue.
